"The Albanian government has designed measures for the near future, in order to fully recover from the 'bill' of the COVID-19 pandemic and to adapt to new market trends." That is what the Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, said in the World Economic Forum, which took place online, with the topic "Where will the growth come from in the future".
Present at this forum were personalities from the field of economics from different countries. The work of this forum focused mainly on whether both advanced and emerging economies will be able to generate the economic growth needed to recover from last year and put countries on a path of equality, sustainability and social mobility.
During the session "Identifying tomorrow's growth", the Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, introduced the participants with a summary of measures taken last year in support of citizens and businesses, to cope with the effects of the crisis caused by COVID-19.
"Albania stands at the top of embracing new technologies and accommodating new business models, to be at the top of the investor map. This approach is foreseen in the Strategy of Albania 2030 and in the Action Plan concretized with specific goals for all sectors of the economy ", said Denaj.
